As many as 15 of the 17 TNI AD soldiers were involved in cases of abuse that resulted in death

Chepril Saputra Namo was sentenced to six years in prison and an additional sentence of being dismissed from TNI service.
Meanwhile, two other people were sentenced to a higher level of imprisonment, namely nine years in prison and were dismissed from the Indonesian Army.
This demand was conveyed by the Military Prosecutor in a trial which took place at Military Court III-15 Kupang Wednesday (10/12).

“We request that the Kupang III-15 military court declare the defendants to be legally and convincingly proven guilty of the military crime of intentionally hitting and mashing a subordinate and by hurting him resulting in death, which was carried out jointly as regulated and punishable in article 131 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with paragraph 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code, article 26 of the Criminal Code as well as applicable and related laws and regulations. We request that the defendants be sentencedpunishment,” said the military prosecutor, Major CHK.Wasinton Marpaung reading out the demands in front of 17 defendants.
The charges against the 17 defendants are included in file number 41-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025.In his complaint, the prosecutor stated that 15 people were sentenced to six years in prison and two others were sentenced to nine years in prison.
The defendants are also required to receive additional punishment in the form of dismissal from TNI AD service.
The two people who were sentenced to higher prison sentences were Letda.Made Juni Arta Dana who is the eighth defendant and First Lieutenant Inf.Achmad Tariq Al Qindi Singajuru, S.Tr.(Han) who is defendant 16.

at the Kupang III-15 military court office, a trial with a prosecution agenda for case file number 41 K/PM.III 15/AD/X/2025.with 17 defendants headed by the panel of judges, Major Chk.Subiyatno and two member judges, namely Captain Chk.Dennis Carol Napitupulu and Captain Chk Zainal Arifin Anang Yulianto.
The three prosecutors who took turns reading out the demands were Lt. Col. Chk.Yusdiharto, Lieutenant Colonel Chk.Alex Panjaitan and Major CHK.Wasinton Marpaung.
The trial, which took place in the main room of Dilmil III-15 Kupang, was also attended by the family of the late Prada Lucky Chepril Saputra Namo, including the victim’s parents, namely Sepriana Paulina Mirpey and Pelda Kristian Namo.
