He said the bodies of the 17 victims would be buried after being praised at the Ahmad Khatib Al Minangkabawi Grand Mosque after Zuhr.
“After being interred, all the bodies of 24 victims were immediately taken to the Bungus TPU,” he said.
He added to the 17 bodies of victims of flash floods in Agam, nine were male, five were female, and three had body parts.
Previously, the Agam Social Service had buried 10 bodies of flash flood victims at the Sungai Jariang Public Cemetery (TPU), Lubuk Basung District, Agam. Of the 10 bodies, two bodies were not in the family’s possession and eight bodies were requested by the family.
“The family asked that the victim be buried at the Sungai Jariang TPU,” he said.
Flash floods, landslides and floods hit Agam, resulting in 188 people dying and 72 still missing.13 people are still being treated, 4,117 people have been displaced, and 988 people have been affected or isolated.
