Seventeen TNI Army soldiers from the Territorial Development Battalion 834/Waka Nga Mere (Yonif 834/WM) Nagekeo will face trial for death charges

The trial, led by Chief Judge Major Chk Subiyatno and two member judges, namely Captain Chk Dennis Carol Napitupulu and Captain Chk Zainal Arifin Anang Yuliantoakan, will be held at the Kupang III-15 Military Court.Meanwhile, the military prosecutors are Lieutenant Colonel Chk Yusdiharto, Lieutenant Colonel Chk Alex Panjaitan and Major CHK Wasinton Marpaung.
“Today the trial of charges for 17 defendants with Case Number 41-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025, the trial will start at 10.00 WITA,” said the Public Relations Officer of the Kupang III-15 Military Court, Captain Chk Damai Chrisdianto in his statement.

He said the prosecution trial was held after the process of examining witnesses and experts carried out at the previous trial.
The prosecution trial with case file 40-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025 with the defendant Danki A Battalion TP 834/WM, Lettu Inf Ahmad Faisal and case file 42-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025 with four defendants, will be held on Thursday (4/12).

at Military Court III-15, since 09.00 the family of Prada Lucky Saputra Namo including the deceased’s mother, Sepriana Paulina Mirpey, have been at the court location to take part in the prosecution hearing.
Previously, Denpom IX/1 Kupang had named 22 suspected TNI Army soldiers who served in the 834/Waka Nga Mere Development Territorial Battalion as suspects in the case of Prada Lucky’s death.
Of the 22 suspects, three of them were first officers with the rank of First Lieutenant (Lettu), one person and two Second Lieutenant (Letda).
Private Lucky Chepril Saputra Namo (23), a TNI Army soldier who served in the Territorial Development Battalion 834 Waka Nga Mere (Yon TP 834/WM) Nagekeo died allegedly as a result of torture carried out by his seniors in the battalion dormitory.
Prada Lucky died on Wednesday (6/8).He underwent treatment for four days at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Aeramo Regional Hospital, Nagekeo.
His body was then brought back to Kupang after being picked up by his biological parents, namely Serma Kristian Namo and Sepriana Paulina Mirpey, on Thursday (7/8).
After two days lying in state at the funeral home, Prada Lucky’s body was buried on Saturday (9/8) with a military ceremony.
