CT ARSA Foundation volunteers worked together with partners, such as the Matauli Alumni Association (IKAMA) to distribute 20 tonnes of aid from Bank Mega Syariah, Gabema Sibolga Tapteng, Rumah Kebangsaan Bersaudara Foundation, Matauli Foundation, Bank Mega and several other partners.
CT ARSA Foundation volunteers try to penetrate isolated locations, such as in Huta Nabolon village, Tukka Central Tapanuli sub-district.The condition of the road which was covered in landslide material, as well as the large number of trees covering the road, meant that distribution of donations was not easy.
However, thanks to good cooperation with the local government, donations from the community entrusted to the CT ARSA Foundation were finally able to reach the disaster victims.Apart from Tukka sub-district, donations were also distributed to several other isolated areas, such as Sorkam, Hutabalang, Pandan and Sibolga city.
Currently, the CT ARSA Foundation team is conducting an assessment for the delivery of the second phase of aid that has been collected from the community and other strategic partners.Based on the CTARSA team’s observations, currently the community really needs toilet facilities and clean water installations, considering that many residents’ clean water sources have been lost due to landslides and flood materials.
Not only sending basic food donations, the CT ARSA Foundation also provides Starlink devices for people who want to communicate with their families and relatives outside the disaster area.
CT ARSA Foundation is still facilitating people who want to help victims of the Sumatran disaster, through the Bank Mega account number in the name of CT ARSA 01.074.0011.421000.The second phase of donations collected through the CT ARSA Foundation is scheduled to be sent in early January 2026.
