Former League 1 team, Persikabo 1973 and
RANS Archipelago
FC, will act in the 2025/2026 Nusantara League or the third caste of Indonesian football.
Based on the drawing results, Friday (7/11), Persikabo 1973 joined Group A with Persipa Pati, Nusantara FC, Batavia FC, Dejan FC and PSDS Deli Serdang.
Then in Group B there are Pekanbaru FC, PSGC Ciamis, Persikota Tangerang, Perserang Serang, Tri Brata Rafflesia FC, and the legendary team Persitara North Jakarta.

Then in Group C, RANS Nusantara FC will compete with Persibo Bojonegoro, Persika Karanganyar, Persewar Waropen, Persikutim United and Sang Maestro FC.
Meanwhile in Group D, there are Persiba Bantul, Perseden Denpasar, Gresik United, Persebata Lembata, Waanal Brothers, and Persekabpas Pasuruan.
The 2025/2026 Nusantara League is scheduled to run from 1 December 2025 to 14 February 2026 for the Preliminary Round.There are four groups containing six teams each in this phase.
In the initial phase, Group A and Group B are the East Zone, then Group C and Group D are the West Zone.
Later, the winner of each group will have the right to advance to the semifinals to compete for three promotion tickets to the 2026/2027 Championship Division or the second caste of the league.
Meanwhile, the second to fifth places in the Preliminary Round will remain in the Nusantara League.Then the team that finishes sixth in the Preliminary Round will be relegated to League 4.
