The Indonesian contingent is away from chasing Singapore in the medal standings
SEA Games 2025
after adding one gold medal.
Indonesia received an additional gold medal from the mountain bike (MTB) branch through Rendy Varera Sanjaya.
Rendy Varera presented the gold after becoming champion in the MTB cross country eliminator sport at Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Thursday (11/12).

In the final round Rendy Varera beat Malaysian racer Zulkifli Zulfikri who won silver and Filipino athlete Valderama Mark Louwel.
This gold medal is the second medal presented by Rendy Varera to Indonesia at the 2025 SEA Games. Previously, Rendy contributed a silver medal in the men’s downhill MTB number, Wednesday (10/12).
With the addition of one gold medal from Rendy, Indonesia is temporarily firmly in second place in the 2025 SEA Games medal standings with a score of 6 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze.
Indonesia is a little away from being chased by neighboring Singapore, which has 5 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals.
Meanwhile, host Thailand is firmly at the top of the 2025 SEA Games medal standings with a collection of 19 gold, 13 silver and 9 bronze.
The Indonesian contingent has the chance to add to its 2025 SEA Games gold medal tally today.One of them is from the mixed martial arts (MMA) branch which qualified five fighters in the final round.
