The Indonesian contingent managed to surpass Vietnam’s gold medal haul in
SEA Games 2025
ahead of the athletes competing to be the best starting Sunday (14/12) morning.
The Indonesian contingent successfully won 11 gold medals on Saturday (13/12).This achievement led Indonesia to successfully overtake Vietnam in the 2025 SEA Games medal standings.
As of Sunday morning, Indonesia had won 31 gold medals, 42 silver medals and 35 bronze medals.This score brought Indonesia to the runner up position in the 2025 SEA Games medal standings.

Thailand still leads the medal standings with 92 gold medals, 59 silver medals and 36 bronze medals.
Meanwhile, Vietnam is in third place in the standings with a collection of 30 gold, 27 silver and 53 bronze medals.
On Saturday (13/12), Indonesia managed to win a gold medal in the women’s 10m air rifle team shooting sport, which was strengthened by Yasmin Figlia Achadiat.
Then in the women’s 10 meter air rifle shooting event, Dewi Laila Mubrarokah also won a gold medal.Then from the women’s 48 kg weightlifting event, Luluk Diana Tri Wijayana successfully donated a gold medal to Indonesia.
In the men’s Kumite 75kg karate event, Ignatius Joshua Kandou also managed to win a gold medal.
