The Indonesian badminton contingent has qualified for the women’s team semifinals
SEA Games 2025
after beating Myanmar 3-0 on Sunday (7/12).
Competing at Thammasat University Rangsit Campus, Pathum Thani, Putri KW, who appeared in the opening match, was overwhelmed against Thet Htar Thuzar.
Thet Htar Thuzar, who is in 116th position at BWF, was able to win the first game 21-17 over Putri KW, who is ranked 7th in the world.

Putri KW also missed out on the second game.Thet Htar Thuzar was able to lead by five points in the middle of the match 11-7.
However, Putri slowly caught up until a fierce battle broke out when the score was equal at 16-16 to a draw of 20-20.
At deuce, Putri managed to take advantage of the momentum by scoring two points in a row to close the second game with a 22-20 win.
Putri KW didn’t want to get carried away again in the third game.Indonesia’s top women’s singles champion immediately stepped on the gas and closed out a 21-13 victory.
In the second match, Indonesian men’s singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung without difficulty beat Eaint Chit Phoo in two straight games.
Gregoria was still too tough for Eaint Chit Phoo so the Red and White women’s singles managed to achieve an easy win 21-9 21-7 in 19 minutes.
The winning trend for the Indonesian women’s team team continued in the third match.Indonesian women’s doubles Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum successfully defeated Su Latt/Khaing Thin Zar 21-10 21-6.
This landslide victory ensures that Indonesia advances to the women’s team semifinals at the 2025 SEA Games. Next, Indonesia will face the winner of the Vietnam vs Malaysia match in the semifinals.
