.The following is the drawing schedule for the 2026 World Cup qualifying playoffs.
A total of 42 countries have confirmed that they will qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals. Three of them: Canada, Mexico and the United States will automatically qualify because they are hosts.
The remaining six tickets are still up for grabs.Four of them went through the European zone playoffs, the remaining two went through the inter-confederation playoffs.

The European zone playoffs will involve 16 teams that are still entitled to compete.They are Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Wales, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Albania, Republic of Ireland, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Sweden, Romania, Ireland and North Macedonia.
Meanwhile, there are six teams that will beat each other in the inter-confederation playoffs.Two of them come from the Concacaf zone, namely Jamaica and Suriname.
Iraq is the only Asian representative who will compete on the intercontinental route.The team from West Asia managed to get rid of the United Arab Emirates with a 3-2 aggregate in a two-legged format.
Africa also sent one representative, Congo.This team from Central Africa has the right to appear in the play offs after winning in the penalty shootout with Nigeria.
The other two teams appearing in the play-offs are Bolivia (representative of South America) and New Caledonia (representative of Aseania).
The 2026 World Cup qualifying playoff draw for the European zone will be held in Zurich on Thursday (20/11) local time.Meanwhile, the playoff matches will take place next March.
