“We just checked briefly, there are 27 victims here, all of them are being treated by the hospital, and we pray that they will recover soon,” said Lodewijk at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, Friday (7/11) afternoon.

Lodewijk could not yet detail the categories of injuries suffered by the victims.He only said that everything was being taken seriously by the hospital.
“Friends from the hospital are handling this. Meanwhile, what I see here are 27,” he said.
The Golkar politician also could not speak about the source of the explosion that occurred at SMA 72 and left it entirely up to the police to carry out the investigation.
“Not yet, the police will still be investigating. We can’t yet issue a statement on why that is, why this is, because we are investigating, we’ll just have to wait,” he said.
“If there are findings, of course the Regional Police Chief (Metro Jaya) will convey them to friends,” he added.
Previously, Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri said the total number of victims of the explosion at SMA 72 Kelapa Gading reached 54 people.They are now receiving medical treatment.There are also those who have been allowed to go home.
