A total of six Indonesian swimmers have the potential to win three gold medals in swimming
SEA Games 2025

The six Red and White swimmers managed to reach the final round after undergoing the qualifying round at the Swimming Pool, Sports Authority of Thailand, Bangkok, Friday morning.
The Indonesian swimmer competed in three events, namely the women’s 100 meter freestyle, women’s 200 meter backstroke and women’s 400 meter freestyle.

The women’s 100 meter freestyle number will be represented by Nadia Aisha Nurazmi.In the qualifying round, Nadia recorded a swimming time of 57.53 seconds.Nadia can still sharpen this time record.
Indonesia also has the opportunity to win a medal from Serena Karmelita Muslim.Serena recorded a swimming time of 58.92 seconds and followed in Nadia’s footsteps to qualify for the final round.
From the women’s 200 meter backstroke event, the Indonesian athlete who qualified was a young swimmer, Adelia Chantika Aulia.Adelia advanced to the final round with a swimming time of 2:24.84.
After qualifying, Adelia admitted that the time achieved was not her best record.According to him, this happened because the organizers misplaced the flag marking the last 5 meters.
“Thank God, even though there was a slight problem, the committee got the flag wrong at the last 5 meters, but I still qualified for the final. Just try again later this afternoon in the final,” said Adelia.
The last Indonesian swimmer to qualify for the final round on the third day of swimming was Izzy Dwifaiva Hefrisya.Izzy who finished 4:30.80 in the women’s 400 meter freestyle qualifying round.
The coach of the Indonesian national swimming team, Albert C. Sutanto, admitted that he was quite satisfied with the progress of the Red and White swimming athletes to the final round on the third day of swimming at the Thailand Sea Games.
“For the women’s 100 meter freestyle, Nadia and Serenna were okay, we had two representatives in the final. For Adelia, the committee should not have made a fatal mistake like that,” said Albert.
In total there will be six swimmers and one Indonesian men’s medley team who will compete in the final round of the third day of the swimming competition at the 2025 SEA Games starting at 18.00 WIB.
