“The search is still ongoing,” said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo at the Red and White Building, Jakarta, Thursday (6/11) afternoon.
For this reason, Budi cannot convey what evidence has been found.
“However, what is certain is that in the search activities the team will certainly look for additional evidence and other clues so that they can then reveal this case more clearly,” he said.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) named three people as suspects in an alleged extortion case related to the addition of the 2025 budget allocated to the UPT Roads and Bridges for Regions I-VI of the PUPR PKPP Service and/or receipt of gratuities.
They are Abdul Wahid, Dani M. Nursalam as Abdul Wahid’s Expert, and Head of the PUPR PKPP Service for Riau Province M. Arief Setiawan.
The suspects have been detained for the first 20 days until November 23 2025.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) uncovered this case through a Hand Arrest Operation (OTT) which was held on Monday, November 3 2025. In this silent operation, the Corruption Eradication Commission found and confiscated IDR 1.6 billion (consisting of rupiah denominations, United States dollars and Pound Sterling).
