The bus accident carrying a group of health workers in Bina Sehat Jember Hospital was allegedly triggered by brake failure, killed 8 people and injured dozens of others.
The TKP survey was conducted to evaluate the causes of accidents, assess aspects of roadworthiness and vehicles, as well as compile preventive measures so that similar incidents do not recur, especially in the tourist route prone to accidents.
Plt.Director of Dewi Aryani Suzana said, Jasa Raharja played a role not only on providing guarantees and distribution of compensation for victims of traffic accidents.
More than that, Jasa Raharja also encourages cross -agency synergy so that the accident prevention system is more effective.
“We believe that traffic safety is a shared responsibility. Through this coordination, we want to ensure concrete actions, ranging from the supervision of the transport fleet, increasing driver’s awareness, to evaluating road infrastructure,” Dewi said.
Victim’s visit and delivery of compensation after conducting a crime scene, the group visited directly to Bina Sehat Jember Hospital to ensure that accident victims received the best handling.
On the occasion, the submission of compensation was carried out to the heirs of the victim died in accordance with the provisions of Rp50 million per victim.Meanwhile, the cost of maintenance for injured victims is borne by Raharja Services up to Rp20 million, including additional benefits in the form of first aid and ambulance costs.
