On the same occasion, Wahyu also stressed that the case involving two TNI soldiers did not involve military units.He begged the understanding of the community so as not to generalize this case.
“Please understand, please understand. We cannot generalize,” he said.
“If there is one/two Army personnel like that, it can be hired for an activity that violates the law, then he leaves (units), it cannot be said that all the Army soldiers can be rested to help problems related to it,” he said.
“And I emphasize that here the consideration is personal. So some time ago with my media friends, I will say, this will be reminded of the ranks. This is what we remind you how to control self for association, activities in the environment,” he continued.
Wahyu said that TNI soldiers must consider very well when dealing with friends, communicating, or when receiving requests for assistance.The consideration is related to the benefits and losses that will be caused, both for personal and institutional.
“So I emphasize here, it does not mean or it cannot be said that the Army Soldiers can be inspected for such activities,” he stressed.
“But what is clear is that the Army always emphasizes to help the community, help solve community problems, helping to solve community needs,” he concluded.
