On Thursday (9/25), the curfew rules were applied by the authorities from 19:00 to 5:00 the next day.The police also carried out massive patrols in various regions of the capital city to control the situation.

“Unfortunately, there are individuals who use this situation to destroy other people’s property,” said General Angelo Ravelonarivo as the leader of the Joint Security Agency of the Police and the Military on Thursday (9/27).

The curfew rules are said to continue to be applied until public order recovered.
In addition, the authorities also apply other actions in response to the riots that occur.
One of them is by issuing a ban on mass action since Wednesday (9/24) under the pretext of risk of disrupting public security.
The demonstration in Madagascar began with calls on social media, like Facebook, in the last few days.The mass that initiated the demonstration was dominated by young people.
Hundreds of masses then took to the streets demanding the responsibility of the government because of continuous power outages for more than 12 hours every day.
The masses reportedly flawed stones with stones and burned tires.In addition, there are also looting reports in retail stores, tools, and banks in the Capital City.
Some country’s cables system stations are also the object of burning.The climax, three politician houses close to President Andry Rajoelina were also attacked by a number of people.

At least five people were killed in mass demonstrations who protested the power outage and lack of clean water.
