Six villages in the Regency

The six villages can only be accessed by air and foot.Meanwhile, wheels 2 and 4 still cannot pass, blocked by wood and mud.
“There are 6 more gampongs (villages). Currently there is no access to them for two- or four-wheeled vehicles,” said Hasan Basri when contacted from Banda Aceh, Wednesday (3/12).
Currently, heavy equipment has been deployed to break through and clear the mud and flood material that has blocked the road to this isolated village.He ensured that in the next 2 or 3 days the village would be accessible.
“Our focus is on isolated and flood-affected villages that cannot be reached by vehicles,” he said.
In general, he said, the distribution of logistics and medical posts at evacuation points was almost evenly distributed.Moreover, there are no obstacles to access to the Regency, if you use the land road from Banda Aceh.
From data from the Aceh disaster emergency response post updated Tuesday (2/12) evening, refugees in Pidie Jaya Regency currently number 24,842 people spread across 103 evacuation points.Meanwhile, 17 and 18 people were declared missing.
Then 388 people suffered serious injuries and 1,433 minor injuries.Then 7,728 residents’ houses were damaged.
