which is of special attention.

“And this status is due to land access which is still cut off. This cut off land access is mostly connecting access across districts and access between the district center and sub-districts or villages within the district,” said Abdul.
Even though land access is still cut off, Abdul ensures that the distribution of aid or logistics to affected residents will continue to be distributed by air.
Then, in North Sumatra Province, BNPB noted that there were two districts, nine sub-districts and 21 villages that were still difficult to access by land.
“Efforts are being made to improve road access so that land access in these 21 villages can be opened immediately. This is the same condition as the average area which is difficult for land access, namely cross-district routes and routes between sub-districts and villages in the district,” said Abdul.
Meanwhile in West Sumatra, BNPB reported that there is one nagari or village that is still difficult to access in the Agam Regency area.
“In Agam district there is still one affected nagari whose access is still not open, but we continue to drop logistics via air,” said Abdul.
As of Sunday, BNPB recorded that the number of victims who died due to floods and landslides had increased to 1,016 people. Then, there were 212 missing victims recorded.
