The letter numbered: Ist/27, which was signed by the Deputy Regent of Aceh Tamiang, Ismail, came into effect on Monday (15/12).The aim is for ASN to clean their respective work environments and help service the Aceh Tamiang Regional Government post.
“Instructed to all ASN (PNS, PPPK and
outsourcing
) within the Aceh Tamiang Regency Government to come to the office to clean their respective work environments and assist services at the Aceh Tamiang Regency Government Post,” the letter said, quoted on Tuesday (16/12).

The Aceh Tamiang Regency Government also asked all OPD Heads to enforce absenteeism and if anyone does not attend they will be subject to sanctions, namely writing a letter of resignation.
“If ASN is not willing to be present to help accelerate recovery from the impact of the disaster, then they are permitted to make a statement of resignation as ASN for the Regional Government of Aceh Tamiang Regency,” was quoted from the letter.
Aceh Regency Government Spokesperson Tamiang Agusliayana Devita confirmed the letter.However, he did not specify the conditions of residence of ASNs who are required to enter.
“Yes, that’s right (the ASN instruction letter is still in the office),” said Agusliayana when confirmed by hitclubapk3Indonesia.com, Tuesday (16/12).
There is considered to be no empathy
An ASN resident of Kuala Simpang, Aceh Tamiang, believes that this policy makes no sense in the midst of the destroyed condition of the area.Many ASNs even had their houses damaged and disappeared.
“In my opinion, this is a policy that lacks empathy. Why do we mean that victims are also forced to come in, this is strange, so what about ASNs whose houses are lost and have nothing left?” said the ASN, who declined to be named, to journalists.
He hopes that the instructions will be evaluated or temporarily postponed until conditions in Aceh Tamiang recover.
“Yes, if it can be revoked, everyone is currently busy cleaning their houses, living in tents and even finding food to survive is still difficult with the current conditions,” he said.
Data from the Aceh hydrometeorological disaster emergency response post updated Tuesday (16/12) at 16:00 WIB, 62 office facilities in Aceh Tamiang Regency were damaged and 17 hospitals and health centers.
Then there were 208,163 refugees spread across 475 points.The death toll was 85 people.
