Inspector General of Police (Ret.) Armia Pahmi said that there were no longer any villages isolated by flash floods and landslides.
He said that logistical assistance had been distributed to all villages in Aceh Tamiang.
“Isolated villages no longer exist. We have distributed all the logistics,” said Armia via short message, Thursday (18/12).

Armia said that today a lot of aid has entered Aceh Tamiang.
He also stated that he had distributed everything to 216 villages there according to the residents’ needs.
“A lot of aid has come in and we have distributed it to 216 villages according to the request of the village heads,” he said.
Armia said that in the context of post-disaster recovery they are currently preparing temporary shelter for affected residents.
For temporary housing, Armia said he had prepared government-owned land and had sent the data to the Aceh Provincial Government for follow-up.
“I hope that in January, we can establish shelters and shelters, God willing,” he said.
Assistance for victims of flash floods and landslides was previously reported to have been received by the community in Lubuk Sindup Village, Aceh Tamiang, Aceh.
This assistance was distributed by the Aceh Besar Regency Ministry of Religion Office.In total, around 10 tonnes of humanitarian aid for flood victims was distributed to the Aceh region, focused on Aceh Tamiang District, North Aceh, East Aceh and Langsa City.
Head of the Aceh Besar Ministry of Religion, H Saifuddin SE, Tuesday, 16 December 2025, hopes that this assistance can help meet the basic needs of victims during the disaster emergency response period which has been extended by the Aceh Government until 25 December.
