lost dramatically 2-3 to hosts Lion City Sailors in the fifth match of Group G AFC Champions League Two (ACL 2) 2025/2026 at Bishan Stadium, Wednesday (26/11) evening.Thom Haye recorded two assists in this match.
Persib Bandung immediately took the initiative to control the ball and appear to attack.In the ninth minute Lion City was able to surprise Persib through a goal scored by Lennart Thy which put the home team ahead 1-0.
The goal came from Lennart Thy who managed to escape the offside trap when he received a direct pass from midfield.Lennart Thy immediately fired a chip shot that outwitted Persib goalkeeper Teja Paku Alam.

However, Lion City’s lead did not last long because two minutes later or in the 11th minute Persib were able to equalize through Frans Putros’ flick after following Thom Haye’s pass.
In the 20th minute, Lion City threatened Persib’s defense again through Lennart Thy’s flick.However, his shot still deviated from the right side of the Persib goal.
