, Adam Alis, couldn’t hold back his tears after scoring the decisive goal in Maung Bandung’s victory over Selangor FC with a score of 3-2 in the 2025/2026 AFC Champions League Two (ACL2) group stage match, Thursday (6/11) evening at the Petaling Jaya Stadium, Malaysia.
The match was dramatic.Persib, coached by Bojan Hodak, was behind 0-2 in the first half.Chrigor scored Selangor’s quick goal in the 2nd minute, using Alvin Mateus Fortes’ pass.
The disaster continued in the 17th minute after Teja Paku Alam’s save caused the ball to hit Patricio Matricardi and into his own net.

Entering the second half, Persib appeared more aggressive.In the 48th minute, Andrew Jung reduced the deficit to 1-2 through chaos resulting from Thom Haye’s corner kick.
Persib’s pressure continued until Adam Alis finally scored the equalizing goal in the 81st minute with a hard low kick which Selangor goalkeeper, Sikh Izhan Nazrel, was unable to block after receiving Marc Klok’s breakthrough pass.
The drama reached its peak in extra time.When the match looked like it would end in a draw, Selangor goalkeeper Nazrel’s fatal mistake was exploited by Adam Alis in the 90+7 minute.He calmly tipped the ball into the opponent’s goal and gave Persib a 3-2 lead.
After scoring the goal, Adam Alis couldn’t hold back his tears which made the match even more dramatic.
As soon as the long whistle sounded, Adam Alis was again seen crying.His colleagues immediately hugged the midfielder who was the hero of Persib’s comeback victory.
