U-19 Indonesian National Futsal Team
confirmed to qualify for the semifinals of the 2025 AFF Futsal U-19 Cup as winner of Group B. The following are the standings for the AFF U-19 Futsal Cup as of Thursday (25/12) afternoon WIB.
The Indonesian U-19 National Futsal Team won 1-0 over Malaysia in the second Group B match in Nontabhuri, Thailand, Thursday (25/12) afternoon WIB.
This victory enabled Indonesia to gain an additional three points and successfully strengthen its position at the top of Group B with six points.

Indonesia successfully swept two matches in Group B with a win.Apart from winning 1-0 over Malaysia, Indonesia first slaughtered Myanmar 4-1 in the first match.
Meanwhile, the defeat by Indonesia means that Malaysia remains in second place in Group B with one point from the two matches played.
Before losing 0-1 to Indonesia, Malaysia first drew 3-3 against Myanmar in the first match.
Indonesia is also certain to qualify for the semifinals of the 2025 AFF U-19 Futsal Cup with status as winner of Group B. Meanwhile, Malaysia continues to qualify for the semifinals as runner up in Group B.

Indonesia appeared dominant with ball control and high attack intensity.The only goal in this match was scored by Andika Ferdyansyah in the first minute of the first half.This goal was the difference and determiner of victory.

Entering the second half, Indonesia still dominated the match.A dangerous opportunity was created through Fatih Zidane’s kick in the 22nd minute.Not long after, it was Andi Umay’s turn to threaten the Malaysian goal, followed by Robby Faturahman’s shot which the Malaysian goalkeeper was able to block.
Continuous pressure from Indonesia prevented Malaysia’s game from developing.This situation even aroused the emotions of the Malaysia U-19 coach who looked angry on the sidelines.In the 39th minute, Indonesia scored a second goal through Andi Umay, but the referee disallowed it because Andi Umat was deemed to have committed a violation against the Malaysian goalkeeper.
Until the match was over, the score remained 1-0.This result ensures that Indonesia advances to the semifinals of the 2025 AFF U-19 Futsal Cup. In the semifinals, Indonesia has the potential to meet Thailand or Vietnam.
