Ivory Coast and Cameroon managed to win in the first match they played in
2025 Africa Cup of Nations
, Thursday (25/12) early morning WIB.
Ivory Coast managed to beat Mozambique with a score of 1-0.The only goal in the match was scored by Manchester United star, Amad Diallo.
Diallo scored a goal using a beautiful scheme.He followed up Franck Kessie’s header with a low right-footed shot.Previously, Guela Doue was the person who sent a cross towards Franck Kessie in the penalty box.

Ivory Coast actually has more opportunities to score goals.However, they failed to maximize a number of golden opportunities that came to them in that match.
Meanwhile, in the other match, Cameroon also managed to beat Gabon with a narrow score of 1-0.Cameroon’s only goal was scored by Etta Eyong in the sixth minute.
Etta Eyong’s goal came from an assist from Bryan Mbeumo.This single goal also made Cameroon finish the match with three points in hand.
With the condition that they both won in the first match, Cameroon and Ivory Coast both collected three points.They are now in the top two of Group F.
At the 2025 African Cup of Nations, the top two teams will qualify for the knockout phase.Ivory Coast and Cameroon are also favorites to advance as representatives of group F.
