Students in
State High School 72 Jakarta
started implementing face-to-face learning today, Monday (17/11) after the explosion at school more than a week ago.
Special Staff to the Governor of DKI Jakarta for Social Communications, Chico Hakim, said that students and parents are allowed to choose whether to participate in face-to-face or online learning.
“Monday, November 17, offline and online learning will begin. Students and parents are allowed to choose,” said Chico when confirmed, Monday morning.

Previously, since Monday (10/11) last week, students at SMAN 72 studied online after the explosion at the school on Friday (5/11).
Recently, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed that many students wanted to move after the explosion incident.According to him, this is the impact of the trauma experienced by the students.
“The impact was beyond my expectations, many students then asked to change schools,” he said when met in Jakarta, Sunday (16/11).
He admitted that he had met with the Principal of SMA 72 Jakarta to discuss this issue.Pramono emphasized that this issue must be formulated properly.
“Because I don’t want it to have a long-lasting impact,” said Pramono
The explosion occurred at SMAN 72 North Jakarta, 7 November during the Friday prayer procession, at around 12.15 WIB.The explosion occurred in the school mosque area during Friday prayers.
There were no fatalities in the incident.However, there were 96 people injured in the incident.
In this case, the police have determined that the alleged perpetrator is a Child in Conflict with the Law (ABH) who is also a student at the school.ABH is now being treated at the National Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.
