ASDP Operations & Transformation Director Rio Lasse said ASDP ensures that all operational management must be responsive and data-based.This is to respond to increasingly complex operational challenges because people’s movement patterns continue to increase and are dynamic.
“Digitalization of tickets through Ferizy allows flow management from departure from home, not when the vehicle arrives at the port. This is the key to maintaining smoothness and safety,” said Rio in a written statement, Tuesday (25/11).

He said that ASDP’s focus was to maintain the safety and smooth travel of the community during Christmas.
One of the steps taken by ASDP is to ensure the implementation of government policies regarding restrictions on ticket purchasing areas.That way, vehicles don’t stop and cause wild queues around the port.
ASDP also strengthens
delaying system
through the vehicle buffer in
rest area
and arterial sections before entering Merak and Bakauheni Ports.
For the Merak-Bakauheni route, ASDP operates 47 ferries during the peak period of Nataru, able to serve up to around 25 thousand vehicles per day.
Seven piers on the route were strengthened, including additional ports such as BBJ Bojonegara and Ciwandan.
As for the Ketapang-Gilimanuk route, ASDP operates 28 to 33 ships according to field needs.
The fleet serves active crossings between Ketapang Harbor in Banyuwangi and Gilimanuk Harbor in Bali.The ships will support services for up to 2,000 small vehicles.
Rio ensures that ASDP maximizes all available resources, starting from fleet readiness, HR management, Ferizy digital systems, to monitoring
real-time
at each movement node.
