“5.2 percent can be achieved,” said Airlangga at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Wednesday (5/11).
Airlangga said he still needed to discuss the growth figure of 5.04 percent
year on year
(yoy) which was achieved in the third quarter of 2025. He emphasized that this achievement was good because it could still stay at around 5 percent.

He agreed that there was weakness in the third quarter, but did not say what was the cause.Airlangga only emphasized that economic growth would increase again in the fourth quarter of 2025.
BPS Deputy for Balance Sheets and Statistical Analysis Moh Edy Mahmud previously reported that the Indonesian economy based on the gross domestic product (GDP) for the third quarter of 2025 at current prices was IDR 6,060 trillion.Meanwhile, GDP at constant prices is IDR 3,444.8 trillion.
“So Indonesia’s growth in the third quarter of 2025 when compared to the third quarter of 2024 or yoy growth is 5.04 percent,” said Edy in a press conference at the BPS office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (5/11).
“When compared with the second quarter of 2025 or equivalently
quarter to quarter
(qtq) grew by 1.43 percent,” he continued.
In the third quarter of 2024, the Indonesian economy will only grow 4.95 percent on an annual basis.This was supported by GDP at current prices which reached IDR 5,638.9 trillion and GDP at constant prices of IDR 3,279.6 trillion.
Meanwhile, Indonesia’s economic growth in the second quarter of 2025 reached 5.12 percent yoy.This achievement is better than at the beginning of this year when the economy grew 4.87 percent on an annual basis.
