This was done following the construction of a new building at the Islamic boarding school which collapsed at the end of last September.
Based on data from the East Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Law, the Islamic boarding school is registered under the name KH Abdul Mujib Abbas Al Khoziny, who has been registered since 2016 through SK AHU-0001972.AH.01.04 of 2016.

Haris conveyed this in his statement based on the Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School Construction Preparation Coordination Meeting which was held at the Sidoarjo Land Office, Wednesday (5/11).
Haris said that his party was committed to providing assistance and legal solutions in accelerating the development of the Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School in Sidoarjo Regency.
He also emphasized that the Regional Office of the East Java Ministry of Law is ready to facilitate the acceleration of the unblocking and completion of the foundation’s founding documents.This step is expected to become a valid legal basis for land management and implementation of government assistance at Islamic boarding school locations.
“As a follow-up, the East Java Ministry of Law will also coordinate with notaries and related parties to ensure that the foundation can be immediately reactivated with a new name, Al Khoziny Buduran Sidoarjo Foundation,” he said.
Apart from that, he said, a letter requesting the release of Protected Rice Fields (LSD) would also be forwarded to the central government.
“We will provide full assistance so that the legal status of the foundation can be restored immediately. This is important so that the entire administrative process for building the Islamic boarding school can run without obstacles,” said Haris.
Follow up on President Prabowo’s direction
This meeting, which was attended by a number of related agencies, was a follow-up to the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, who planned to lay the first stone (
ground breaking
) construction on November 25, 2025.
“This meeting is important because it is related to the President’s readiness to carry out ground breaking,” said the Head of the Sidoarjo Land Office, Nursuliantoro, who was also present at the meeting.
Meanwhile, the administrator of the Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School, Kiai Muchammad Ubaidillah, stated that he was trying to fulfill all legal and administrative requirements, with the help of notary Ismaryani.
He hopes that cross-agency support, including the East Java Ministry of Law, can speed up the process of legalizing and relocating the Islamic boarding school to a new location on Jalan Antartica, Siwalanpanji Village.
