This confirmation was obtained after Alwi defeated Malaysia’s representative, Justin Hoh, in the semifinal match with a score of 21-10, 15-21, 21-14.

Both players chased each other’s points until the position was 6-6.However, Alwi was able to find his best playing rhythm and began to dominate the game.
He shot ahead from 8-6, 12-7, to widening the gap to 17-8.Aggressive play and neat net control made Alwi close the first game with a landslide victory 21-10.
Entering the second game, Justin Hoh appeared more pressing.The Malaysian badminton player quickly took a 6-2 lead and continued to widen the gap to 12-4.
Alwi tried to catch up, but Justin’s consistency made the second game his with a score of 21-15.
In the deciding game, the match was tough again.However, Alwi appeared calmer and was able to handle the pressure by winning 7-2 at the start of the game.
This advantage continued to be maintained until finally Alwi closed the third game with a score of 21-14.This victory ensures Alwi Farhan’s progress to the final of the 2025 SEA Games.
Interestingly, in the 2025 SEA Games men’s singles final which will take place on Sunday (14/12), Alwi Farhan will meet another Red and White representative, namely Ubed.
This situation made the All Indonesian Final take place in the men’s singles sector of the 2025 SEA Games and ensured that one gold medal belonged to the Red and White team.
Ubed managed to advance to the men’s singles final at the 2025 SEA Games after defeating Malaysian representative Leong Jun Hao in the semifinals.
