Police found the suspected skeleton of a boy named Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6) who was missing for 8 months in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta (

The skeleton was found after the police identified the alleged perpetrator

Alvaro is his stepfather.
“The perpetrator is Alvaro’s stepfather,” said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, Monday (24/11).

He said the police arrested the perpetrator and found a skeleton suspected to be Alvaro.After that, the police carried out a DNA test on the skeleton suspected to be Alvaro’s body.
“Just found a human skeleton which is thought to be Alvaro,” said Nicolas.
DNA testing is a laboratory examination process to analyze “deoxyribonucleic acid” (DNA), namely the genetic material that stores a person’s unique biological information.
Therefore, said Nicolas, to ensure that the skeleton is really Alvaro’s or not, it is necessary to carry out a DNA check and a forensic laboratory examination.
Previously, the police had found a boy named Alvaro who had been missing since March 2025 in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, dead.
Pesanggrahan Police stated that the suspect in the case of Alvaro’s disappearance had also been arrested for questioning.
However, his party has not been able to provide much information regarding the cause of the victim’s death because the case is still being investigated.
The police said that surveillance camera (CCTV) footage around the victim’s house which was deleted every day and not saved was one of the obstacles in the search for the child.
Apart from that, the family also reported Alvaro’s disappearance not on the day the incident occurred.
However, the police continue to try to find information from witnesses, schools, families, and direct messages (DM) on Instagram social media, as well as the police chief’s complaint channel.
Alvaro has been missing for eight months.His whereabouts have not been detected since Thursday, March 6 2025. Meanwhile, the victim’s grandfather Tugimin (71) suspects that Alvaro was kidnapped by a man who claimed to be his father.
