related to a sting operation (

) which was carried out on Friday (7/11).
They have now arrived at the KPK’s Red and White Building on Saturday (8/11) at 08.10 WIB.

“The parties who were arrested and brought to Jakarta this morning were the Regent, the Regional Secretary, the Director of the Regional Hospital, the Head of the Regional Secretariat Mutation Division, and 3 private parties. One of them was the Regent’s younger brother,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a written statement, Saturday (8/11).
The KPK arrested a total of 13 people in an OTT in Ponorogo, East Java.The rest will be brought to Jakarta at different times.
The OTT is related to transfer and promotion cases.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has not provided details regarding the chronology of the silent operation, including confirmation of evidence and the identities of other parties who were also arrested.
Based on the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), the Corruption Eradication Committee has 1 x 24 hours to determine the legal status of the parties caught red-handed.
