was hit by a fan when the Glinda actor walked on the red carpet at the Wicked 2 premiere in Singapore on Thursday (13/11) and made the atmosphere chaotic.
However, in the midst of the excitement, Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, immediately stepped forward to try to push away the man who suddenly hugged Grande.

In a video that went viral on social media, Grande walked with Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum at the premiere held at Universal Studios Singapore.
Suddenly, a man in a white shirt immediately jumped from the crowd and ran towards Grande.The man immediately hugged and embraced the 33 year old actress.
Grande actually tried to get away from the man but lost her strength.Cynthia Erivo, who was not far from Grande, immediately came and tried to let go of the man who was smiling happily hugging Grande.
Until finally the officers immediately ambushed and arrested the man.In the video that was spread, Ariana Grande appeared shaken by the incident and was supported by the other Wicked cast.
The New York Post said it had contacted representatives of Ariana Grande and Cyhthia Erivo about the news.

said the man who attacked Ariana Grande was known as Johnson Wen aka Pajama Man on social media.He is also known for his out-of-bounds behavior at entertainment events, such as storming Katy Perry’s concert in Australia in June 2025.
He also proudly showed off his action of breaking through the barricades and attacking Ariana Grande on his social media.In a post on Instagram Story, he said he had been released by security forces.

Wicked Part 2: For Good was actually made at the same time as Wicked (2022) and was almost completed in July 2023. However, production was postponed due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Production was then resumed and completed in January 2024.
