In a viral video, the 26-year-old Australian jumped over a barricade at the premiere of the musical sequel on Thursday (13/11) and ambushed Grande, who was being protected by her co-star, Cynthia Erivo.
According to local media, Wen pleaded guilty to the incident.
During the trial, the judge heard testimony that Wen tried to disrupt the red carpet twice, once when he ambushed Grande and again after she was escorted out by security officers.

Wen on that occasion claimed to the judge that he “wouldn’t do it again.”
It turns out that the man often posts on social media about his closeness to celebrities at various events and premieres. He has also been on stage at concerts by Katy Perry, The Weeknd, The Chainsmokers and others.
In an Instagram Story post the day after the premiere of Wicked: For Good, Wen posted that he was “free after being arrested.”
Although Grande has not publicly commented on the incident, Erivo touched on it at a screening in Los Angeles last weekend.
“We’ve been through some bumps,” Erivo said of the film’s press tour.”I mean, damn, even last week was like that, to be honest.”
Grande, Erivo, and the entire cast of “Wicked: For Good” will make their final visit to New York City on Monday (11/17) before the film hits theaters on November 21.
