Ariel NOAH was confused about being offered the role of Dilan in two new films

admitted that he was confused before deciding to take on the role of Dilan in the latest film in the series.NOAH’s vocalist will be Dilan for the version
Dilan ITB 1997
and Dilan Amsterdam.
He will replace Arbani Yasiz, who plays the former commander of a motorcycle gang in Bandung in Ancika: He Who is With Me 1995 which will air in 2024.

“As soon as you are told, ‘Wow, this is this big class’. This character already exists, it’s already strong, so it can’t be decided in a short time. So you have to think about it many times,” said Ariel in Duren Tiga, Wednesday (5/11).
“The problem is because this is a big character, right? I mean, he’s already strong. So, you can’t just decide haphazardly. So, is he capable or not? Well, that’s what must be committed to first here,” he said.
Ariel said he needed to talk to Pidi Baiq and Falcon Pictures several times.Not only is he considering continuing the character Iqbaal has played, but it is also a big decision in his career.

“I like art, so I have to try it while I’m still alive. From the beginning there was an offer, ‘Do you want acting art or not?’There’s just a lot to consider.”As a Virgo (zodiac sign), I’m really picky,” said Ariel.

Apart from being known as a musician and vocalist for NOAH, a man named Nazriel Irham has actually acted in films before.He first debuted on the big screen in Sang Pemimpi (2009) as Arai, and then provided his voice in Jumbo (2025).
Ariel has also been a guest star in the series Tetangga Masa Gitu?in 2015, and as himself in the documentary NOAH: The Beginning in 2013.
The decision to take on the role of Dilan making the filming of these two big films will be Ariel’s activity in the midst of NOAH which is currently on hiatus for an unknown amount of time.Film production will begin in December 2025 and it is projected that Dilan ITB 1997 will be broadcast in 2026.
Dilan ITB 1997 is the fourth film in the Falcon Pictures version of the Dilan universe saga, after Dilan: He is Dilanku in 1990 aka Dilan 1990 (2018), followed by Dilan 1991 in 2019, and a spin-off entitled Milea: Suara dari Dilan in 2020.
The Dilan universe is based on the trilogy of Dilan novels created by Pidi Baiq, namely Dilan: He is my Dilan in 1990 (2014), Dilan Part Two: He is my Dilan in 1991 (2015), and Milea: Voice of Dilan (2016).
