) re-examined former Expert Staff to the Minister of Finance for Tax Compliance era

Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Center, Anang Supriatna, said that the witness being questioned this time was the former Srimul Expert Staff in the Field of State Revenue Policy, Astera Primanto Bhakti.
He explained that Astera was questioned by investigators from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes in his capacity as a witness on Monday (24/11).

“It’s true that he was questioned on Monday 24 November 2025 as a witness,” he said when confirmed via short message, Tuesday (2/12).
He did not reveal further regarding the examination material that investigators were studying.However, Anang said that the person concerned was being investigated regarding state revenues during that period.
“The investigation is related to the position in question as Expert Staff to the Minister of Finance for State Revenue for 2015-2017,” he said.
Previously, the Attorney General’s Office had questioned the former Expert Staff to the Minister of Finance for Tax Compliance during Sri Mulyani’s era, Suryo Utomo (SU) in this case.
The Attorney General’s Office is currently investigating a corruption case in tax payments for the 2016-2020 period.Anang said that in this case there were employees of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance who conspired with taxpayers.
He explained that the agreement between the two was carried out so that tax payments from taxpayers or companies could be lower.In return, he said, taxpayers or companies will make a deposit to the officer.
In this case, a number of parties have also been banned, starting from the former Director General (Dirjen) of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) Ken Dwijugiasteadi (KD) and Karl Layman as a young tax examiner at the Directorate General of Taxes.
