In its investigation, the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs discovered suspicions that a group was bringing weapons to Austria to use for terrorist attacks in Europe.

Previously, a 39 year old British citizen was arrested in London, Monday (3/11).He is suspected of having close ties to the weapons cache discovered by the Austrians.
After being arrested, the man was extradited to Germany for further investigation.German federal prosecutors identified the suspect as Mohammed A. He reportedly twice met with Abdel Al G, who was arrested in Germany last month on suspicion of plotting attacks against Israeli institutions or Jews in Germany.
“On this occasion, Mohammed A took over five rifles and ammunition from Abdel Al G. He then transported these weapons to Austria and stored them in Vienna,” the question reads.
At that time, Hamas denied having any connection with the suspects arrested in Germany. He said the accusations were baseless.
Hamas has indeed carried out attacks on Israeli civilians. However, they rarely operate outside Israel and Palestine.
The discovery of the weapons cache and suspects is part of an international investigation carried out by the Directorate for State Security and Intelligence (DSN) against organizations linked to Hamas.
