Datok admitted that he had officially submitted his resignation from the position of Secretary of the North Sumatra Golkar Party DPD on Thursday (18/12).He added that organizing must be done professionally.

“This organization must be managed professionally, not because of individual wishes, individual wishes. I am a former North Sumatra Golkar secretary, so I can speak,” he said.
According to him, efforts to get rid of Musa Rajekshah were actually visible when the Golkar Party DPP did not accommodate the Regional Deliberation (Musda) schedule.Even though the North Sumatra Golkar Party DPD has proposed two Musda elections.
“I have submitted two musda schedules to the DPP. But the DPP has not accommodated them. So seeing the situation and conditions like this, especially since Mr. Ijeck is in the acting role, I would be naive if I stayed there. Because I also have a personal attitude,” he said.
“When Mr. Ijeck was acting, I also had to think about whether Golkar would continue like this in the future. So I gave up his position too. Still a Golkar cadre? A Golkar cadre cannot disappear unless he changes parties. The cadre remains attached but is not an administrator,” he added.
Datok Ilhamsyah did not deny that ripples were beginning to emerge in the region regarding problems occurring within the North Sumatra Golkar Party DPD.In fact, quite a few choose to leave the management.
“I haven’t confirmed it yet, I’ve only seen it on social media. That’s their personal right. Indeed, many people have questioned what they are doing. But I am certain in my conscience and in my belief that this is how professional management at Golkar is,” he explained.
Previously, the General Chairperson of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, removed Musa Rajekshah alias Ijeck from the position of Chair of the North Sumatra Golkar Party DPD.
The letter of dismissal of Musa Rajekshah, who is also a member of the DPR RI Number: Skep-132/DPP/GOLKAR/XII/2025, was signed directly by Bahlil Lahadalia and Secretary General Muhammad Sarmuji on December 14 2025.
In the letter, Bahlil appointed Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tandjung, Deputy General Chair of the Sumatra Regional Election Winning DPP Golkar Party to concurrently serve as Acting Chairman (Plt) of the North Sumatra Golkar Party DPD Chair.
“Appoint and approve Brother Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tandjung to serve concurrently as Acting Chairman of the Golkar Party DPD for North Sumatra Province replacing Brother Musa Rajekshah,” wrote the letter
Then Ahmad Doli, who is also a member of the DPR RI, was asked to plan, prepare and organize the North Sumatra Golkar Party Musda in accordance with applicable regulations.
Not only that, Ahmad Doli was ordered to take strategic steps to consolidate the organization in the North Sumatra Golkar Party DPD.The assignment period as Acting Chairman of the North Sumatra Golkar Party DPD ends with the implementation of the North Sumatra Golkar Party Musda.
“Carry out your duties as well as possible with a full sense of responsibility and report the implementation to the General Chair of the Golkar Party DPP,” wrote the letter.
