“The passenger composition in 2025 will consist of 13,465 786 or 63 percent international passengers and the remaining 8,141,278 domestic passengers,” said General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Ahmad Syaugi Shahab in a written statement, Saturday (13/12).
In the November period alone the airport served 1.78 million passengers.This number is divided into domestic passenger services of 685.44 thousand passengers and international passengers of 1.1 million passengers.

Last month, there were 11,369 flights arriving and departing, with details of 5,096 aircraft movements on domestic routes and 6,273 movements on international routes.
Of all domestic routes, the three routes with the highest number of passengers come from the Jakarta (CGK) route which serves 340.68 thousand passengers, which continues to be the main choice for tourists and business travelers.Next, Surabaya with 93.5 thousand passengers and Makassar with 44.13 thousand passengers.
Meanwhile, on international flights, the top three routes with the most passenger services were from Singapore which served 172.04 thousand passengers, the Kuala Lumpur route with 128.79 thousand passengers, and Perth with 88.11 thousand passengers.
Based on data on the number of visits by foreign nationals (WNA) to Bali during November, Australia was the country with the highest number, namely 124.54 thousand people.India followed in second place with 44.17 thousand people, and in third place were foreigners from China with 35.91 thousand people.
“We believe this number is also influenced by the increase in new connectivity with the three countries, including the Newcastle, Australia, Mumbai, India and Sichuan, China routes. In the future we hope there will be more and more new routes connected directly to the island of Bali,” he said.
Furthermore, Syaugi explained that his party was focusing on anticipating a surge in passengers during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 periods.
“As was done in previous years, we will hold a Christmas and New Year (Nataru) Command Post this December as a step for excellent service to service users. We have also carried out various coordination with stakeholders in the airport environment to maintain smooth airport operations during the Christmas period,” he said.
