Based on data from the BNPB emergency handling post in Pandanarum Village, the number of refugees recorded was 934 people or 335 families, consisting of 454 men and 480 women.
The refugees are currently spread across five locations, namely the Pandanarum District Office, Beji Village GOR, Pringamba Village Haji Building, Muhammadiyah Building and the homes of relatives or friends.
Then, from the results of a rapid assessment regarding the impact of the damage, it was recorded that 182 housing units were affected, with details of 128 slightly damaged and 54 heavily damaged.
“Damage also occurred to village infrastructure, including ± 800 meters of roads, electricity networks, 670 meters of irrigation canals, one unit of weir, and piped irrigation infrastructure,” he said.
Then, the economic sectors affected included the loss of 5 cows, 125 goats, 14 food stalls and agricultural land.
“In the social sector, one mosque unit suffered heavy damage, while two prayer rooms suffered light damage or were threatened,” he said.
Muhari said search and rescue operations using heavy equipment and manual methods were a top priority.
In line with this, geological monitoring and site studies, post assistance, psychosocial and health services, management of public kitchens and logistics, traffic management, victim burial processes, as well as daily evaluation meetings are also part of the handling efforts.
“The plan for Thursday is that the mission will continue starting from search operations, monitoring geological conditions, command post services, psychosocial and health support, logistics handling, public kitchen operations, refugee assistance, and daily evaluations,” he said.
