, overflowed after heavy rain fell this Sunday (7/12).
The overflowing water from the Batang River also dragged the logs up onto the road, forcing vehicles to turn around.

According to detikcom monitoring, the brownish water of the Batang River is flowing rapidly.Rocks that were previously visible on the surface are now sinking with the high water.
Several logs stuck on the bridge hampered the flow of river water.The only road is now impassable.
This bridge is right near the location of the disaster which swept away residents’ houses.It can be seen that members of the Riau Police BKO who are on duty near the bridge are blocking vehicles.
“Turn around, sir, it’s dangerous, sir. You can’t pass,” said the member.
For your information, heavy rain has fallen on Palembayan District, Agam Regency, since 13.30 WIB.Until now the rain is still falling even though the intensity is low.
Residents are advised not to approach river flows in the midst of heavy rain.Material cleaning activities at the location were also stopped while the rain had not stopped.
