The goalkeeper for the Jakarta State University (UNJ) women’s futsal team, Saza Ainurrohmah, considers the Campus League to be a catalyst in the long journey towards the future.The goal is one, to penetrate the professional league stage.
This fifth semester student majoring in Sports Training, Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences (FIKK) UNJ has already accustomed herself to a disciplined lifestyle like a real athlete.Get enough sleep, wake up early, and have good nutrition in your daily routine.

“Every day I wake up at 4 am to get ready for prayer. After that I have breakfast before I start training at 6 am on campus,” said Saza when met at the UNJ GOR, Jakarta, Saturday (6/12).
The academic aspect never escapes his habits.8 am is the exact schedule for Saza to go to college.But, is sitting and dwelling on theory what he does?No.
After college, Saza immediately rode his motorbike to an international school in Jakarta to train students in futsal.This activity has become her routine since she was a student.
“So apart from studying, I also train children. The sport happens to be the same, futsal. Indirectly, I practice my knowledge in the classroom and on the field as a player and coach,” he said.
“This is my way to stay in futsal. I have the dream of becoming a pro player, God willing. The important thing is that I have adequate nutrition so I don’t collapse,” he added.

The captain of the UNY men’s futsal team, Safari Nur Hannafi, also made small, consistent struggles.The final semester students try to balance academic aspects with achievements in the field.
“This is my final tournament as a student,” said Safari after bringing his team to the final round of the 2025 Campus League The Nationals.
Safari made this assertion because he did not want to delay graduation.Nowadays, entering the 9th semester is considered ‘long’.Safari wants to quickly obtain a bachelor’s degree through the thesis trial this December.
“After the Campus League, I wanted to go to trial. Luckily the lecturers on campus allowed me to take part in the tournament first without having to abandon my thesis,” he said.
“So it’s not because I was given permission by the lecturer. But after returning to Jogja, there were a lot of assignments. Yes, that’s a consequence that has to be endured,” he explained.
What is next?This question filled Safari’s head after graduating.His dream is firm, he wants to become a professional player.
Because of this, Safari diligently participates in various tournaments to hone his skills.He believes that the Campus League can be a stepping stone in realizing his ambitions.
“Becoming professional is the dream of all futsal players. I can only try to get there. I’m sure of that,” he said.
“Campus League is a forum for young athletes to continue to develop. Especially for those who have just started futsal,” he emphasized.
Saza and Safari’s story aligns with the Campus League’s mission, which from the beginning supports a balance of athleticism and academics.Through this inter-campus tournament throughout Indonesia, young athletes like Saza and Safari can maximize their potential.
