The visiting team Persib scored two goals and took a 2-1 lead through goals from Frans Putros and Andrew Jung, while the hosts scored more goals through Lennart Thy, Shawal Anuar and Anderson Lopes.
Conceding two goals which resulted in defeat after winning 2-1 was a highlight for Bojan Hodak.He criticized his team’s back line performance against Lion City.

Persib appeared to dominate Lion City in that match.However, Maung Bandung did not play effectively.
On the other hand, Lion City is said to have fewer opportunities, but is more deadly.This was also Bojan Hodak’s disappointment after the match.
“Behind the two goals we scored, we actually had a lot of chances, but the final solution was not good,” added Hodak.
The defeat to Lion City Sailors meant that Persib failed to secure a place in the last 16 of ACL 2. Persib remains at the top of Group F with 10 points, but is under threat from Bangkok United and Lion City.
