emphasized his commitment to remain present for the community amidst the disaster situations in West Sumatra, North Sumatra and Aceh.
This commitment was realized by restoring banking services in the North Sumatra (North Sumatra) and West Sumatra (Sumbar) regions after being affected by flash floods and landslides.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that 12 BNI outlets that were previously affected by the flood are now returning to normal operations serving customers in the Medan, Sibolga and Gunung Sitoli areas.

Apart from that, 47 ATMs that were not functioning due to waterlogging have returned to operation.
This service was restored quickly, including the use of global satellite internet services at a number of outlets so that customer transactions could continue without obstacles.
Okki said the restoration of this service was part of BNI’s commitment to remain present for the community in the midst of an emergency situation.
“We want to ensure that people can still access financial services even in times of disaster, because the continuity of financial transactions is very important for their daily needs,” said Okki in an official statement, Wednesday (4/12).
BNI deploys satellite-based connectivity support at Gunung Sitoli, Sibolga, Pandan and Teluk Dalam outlets.All of these points are now fully functional so that banking operational processes can run optimally again.
As an additional effort, BNI also opened limited operational services to help people who were flood victims.This service will open on 29 November 2025 at BNI KC Gunung Sitoli, and 30 November 2025 at BNI KC Sibolga and BNI KCP Pandan.
