BNN Employee Rehabbed After Being Arrested Using Shabu in Bali

Head of the Buleleng Police Narcotics Research Unit, AKP Putu Edy Sukaryawan, said that IMS was arrested on Saturday (1/11) at around 14.00 WITA, in Banjar Dinas Pumahan, Gitgit Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng.
“There is information from the public that one of the places is currently busy being used to consume drugs. And one of them is an employee of the Regency BNN,” said AKP Edy, Tuesday (4/11).

He explained that IMS was suspected of being a drug user after previously being the target of police monitoring.Initially, the police received information from the public about drug abuse activities in the Pegayaman Village area, Sukasada District, Buleleng.
Then, while carrying out an investigation, the police found a man riding a Honda Beat motorbike who matched the characteristics of the target of the operation, who was the Buleleng BNNK.
“And when this person was on the road, we stopped him, we checked him, we searched him and there was no evidence at that time,” he added.
From his confession, IMS admitted that he had just come from one of the places often used to consume drugs in the Pegayaman Village area.However, when searched
found no evidence of narcotics.However, the police suspected that IMS had been consumed at the previous location.
Next, the IMS was taken to the Buleleng Police office and a urine test was carried out.Then, the results of the STI urine test showed that it was positive for methamphetamine.
“To prove that he had used it or something, we tested his urine and it turned out to be positive. The urine test result was positive for containing methamphetamine,” he said.
Handed over to BNN for rehabilitation
From the results of the interrogation, he admitted to being a user and his party suspected that IMS had used methamphetamine in Pegayaman.Furthermore, IMS has been handed back to the Buleleng BNNK for a follow-up and rehabilitation process.
The police are also still investigating the location and party suspected of being the supplier of crystal methamphetamine in Pegayaman Village.
“We are monitoring the places commonly used and those providing the goods. We will develop this case to find out the network involved,” he said.
Apart from that, from the results of tracking the perpetrator’s cellphone, all message and conversation history was deleted.Police suspect that IMS already knew it was being monitored.
“This is not the first time we have monitored the person concerned. We have checked him before, but he admitted that he did not get anything (shabu). This time the results are clearly positive,” he said.
