The man who was suspected of being swept away was found in the Pesanggrahan River in the Kembangan area, West Jakarta, Saturday.
Kembangan Police Chief Commissioner Mohamad Taufik Iksan confirmed the discovery of a man’s body in Pesanggrahan River and his identity was unknown.

“It’s true, a body was found. Its identity is unknown,” said Taufik in Jakarta, Saturday (8/11) as quoted by Antara.
Taufik explained that the body of a man aged approximately 40 years was found stuck in the floodgate of the Pesanggrahan River.
The body of an unidentified man was first discovered by local residents who were doing their activities around the water gate.
“Initially, residents saw it, then reported it. There was no identity,” said Taufik.
Following up on the resident’s report, police officers then went to the location and evacuated the victim’s body.As for the results of the post-mortem examination, no signs of violence were found.
“There were no signs of violence. The body was taken to the Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo Central General Hospital (RSCM),” he said.
