Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (
BPKP
) denied the Corruption Eradication Commission (
Corruption Eradication Commission
) related to reporting alleged corruption by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero).
“We hereby convey that we have never submitted a report of alleged criminal acts of corruption in the acquisition of PT JN by ASDP to the KPK,” said BPKP spokesperson Gunawan Wibisono in an official release, Friday (28/11).
Gunawan explained that BPKP as the government’s internal auditor had indeed conducted a review of ASDP’s corporate actions in the acquisition of PT JN in 2021. The results of the study had also been submitted to ASDP as the entity that requested a review from BPKP in 2022.

The BPKP review is said to be ASDP material for improving or strengthening governance, risk and control (GRC) in the acquisition process.
“Referring to BPKP internal regulations and the 2021 Indonesian Government Internal Audit Standards (SAIPI), the implementation of supervision by BPKP is carried out at the request of client entities, partners or auditees,” he explained.
“All supervision products, including reports, recommendations and other forms of communication are part of the working relationship between BPKP and the entity. Therefore, the results of supervision are only conveyed to the requesting entity and not directed at other parties,” emphasized Gunawan.
On the other hand, BPKP revealed that the KPK had asked them to calculate state financial losses in the case of the acquisition of PT JN by PT ASDP.The request was made in 2024.
“However, in the end the KPK calculated state financial losses using the KPK’s internal forensic accountant team,” he said.
The KPK previously claimed that the start of the investigation into the alleged ASDP corruption case began with the BPKP auditor’s report. This claim has now been denied by BPKP as the government’s internal auditor.
Apart from that, President Prabowo Subianto decided to rehabilitate three defendants in the alleged Business Cooperation (KSU) corruption case and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara (JN) by PT ASDP in 2019-2022.
The three defendants are former President Director of PT ASPD Ira Puspadewi, Director of Commercial and Services of PT ASDP Muhammad Yusuf Hadi, and Director of Planning and Development of PT ASDP Harry Muhammad Adhi Caksono.
“From the results of communications with the government, thank God, today the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has signed a letter of rehabilitation for the three names,” said Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, at a press conference at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Tuesday (25/11).
The panel of judges at the Jakarta Corruption Court previously sentenced former President Director of PT ASDP Ira Puspadewi to 4 years and 6 months in prison and a fine of Rp. 500 million, subsidiary to 3 months in prison.
Meanwhile, the Director of Commercial and Services of PT ASDP Muhammad Yusuf Hadi and the Director of Planning and Development of PT ASDP Harry Muhammad Adhi Caksono were sentenced to 4 years in prison each and a fine of IDR 250 million, subsidiary to 3 months in prison.
