) scheduled the examination of 26 witnesses in the investigation of three clusters of cases of alleged bribery and receipt of gratuities within the Regency Government

Among the witnesses were the Head of Service and the nephew of the Regent of Ponorogo for the 2021-2025 and 2025-2030 periods, Sugiri Sukoco.
“The examination was carried out at the Madiun Police,” said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo in a written statement, Thursday (4/12).

The witnesses are the Head of Bajang Village, Ninik Setyowati, Indah Bekti Pertiwi (private), Mujib Ridwan (PPK RSUD Dr. Harjono S Ponorogo, General Staff of RSUD Secretary Director of RSUD Wahyu Niken, Singgih Cahyo Wibowo (entrepreneur, nephew of the regent), as well as Endrika Dwiki Christianto, Evitalia Puspita Dewi, and Madha Agsyanohabi Rummanda asBank Jatim employee, Ponorogo Cash Office.
Then Setya Mega Uyung (private), Sri Yanto (private), Oki Widyanarto and Imam Muslihin (PNS Disbudparpora Ponorogo), Judha (Head of Disbudparpora Ponorogo), Diah Ayu (Kadinkes Ponorogo), Arif Pujianan (Head of Mutation Division Ponorogo), and Daris Fuadi (private).
Next are Rahayu Lestari, Dyan Nurcahyanto, Eko Agus Supriadi, Sugiri Heru Sancoro alias Heru Sancoko (private), Bandar (Part Time P3K General Section of Ponorogo Regional Secretariat, regent’s aide), Ferry Dian Kristianto (Contract Personnel General Section of Regional Secretary), Dian Vivit Pahalaningrum (wife of Yunus Mahatma), Mela Ristiawan (Sanitarian Section Support StaffRSUD), Retno Eri (Head of Finance at RSUD), and Atul (Admin of CV Cipto Makmur Jaya).
It is not yet known what specific material investigators intend to examine these witnesses.This will usually be conveyed by the KPK through spokesperson Budi Prasetyo after the investigation is complete.In the process of handling this case, investigators have carried out a series of searches and found a lot of evidence.
The searches were carried out in the Surabaya area, namely at the house of the Regent of Ponorogo for the 2021-2025 and 2025-2030 periods, Sugiri Sukoco, at the house of Ely Widodo as Sukoco’s younger brother, as well as the offices of CV Raya Ilmi and CV Rancang Persada.
“During the search, investigators secured a number of documents and electronic evidence,” said Budi Prasetyo in a written statement, Monday (1/12).
“Meanwhile, during the search at the PT Widya Satria office, apart from securing documents and BBE (Electronic Evidence), investigators also confiscated firearms which were then entrusted to the East Java Regional Police,” he continued.
Budi said that investigators also conducted a search in the Bangkalan area, namely at the residence of Kokoh Prio Utomo, who is an expert for the Regent of Ponorogo.During the search a number of documents and BBE were also confiscated.Meanwhile, in the Ponorogo area, investigators conducted searches in a number of places.
These include the house of Regent Sugiri, the house of YSD who is the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) for the Reog Monument Development project, MJB as PPK for the construction of RSUD dr.Harjono Ponorogo, as well as the house of RLL who is a member of the Ponorogo Regency DRPD, as well as the CV Wahyu Utama office.
“In this series of searches, investigators secured a number of documents and electronic evidence,” explained Budi.
The KPK has named four people as suspects in this case in Ponorogo.
They are Regent Sugiri Sukoco, Regional Secretary of Ponorogo Regency from 2012 until now, namely Agus Pramono, Director of RSUD Dr.Harjono, namely Yunus Mahatma, and the private partner of the Ponorogo Regional Hospital in a work package in the Ponorogo Regency environment, Sucipto.
Due to his actions, Sucipto, in terms of a work package within the Ponorogo Regency Government, was suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption as regulated in Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b and/or Article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor).
Meanwhile, Sugiri together with Yunus Mahatma are suspected of committing criminal acts of corruption as regulated in Article 12 letter a or b and/or Article 11 and/or Article 12B of the Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.
Then Yunus was accused of violating Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b and/or article 13 of the Corruption Law in terms of managing his position.
Meanwhile, Sugiri together with Agus Pramono are accused of violating Article 12 letter a or b and/or Article 11 and/or Article 12B of the Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.The suspects have been detained at the KPK Red and White Branch State Detention Center (Rutan).
