officially married today, Wednesday (3/12).The couple officially became husband and wife after tying the knot in a Catholic Wedding Blessing ceremony at the Cathedral Church, Jakarta.
The blessing is led by the priest who begins with a series of questions regarding the couple’s willingness to navigate the household.The bride and groom answered firmly and sincerely, indicating their steadfastness.

The priest asked about their willingness to officiate the marriage with a free and sincere heart.

“Yes, I am willing,” answered Jonathan Alden and Brisia Jodie after being asked about their lifelong commitment and responsibility to accept and educate children given by God.

The highlight of the ceremony is the moment of swearing in the wedding vows.Jonathan Alden and Brisia Jodie faced each other, held hands, and stated their agreement.
“I, Christopher Jonathan Alden, choose you, Maria Brisia Jodie Maurinne, to be my wife. I promise to faithfully devote myself to you in good times and bad, in times of health and in sickness. I want to love and respect you all my life,” said Jonathan Alden.

After the two vows were exchanged, the priest then declared the Catholic marriage between the two to be valid.
“In the name of the Church of God, in front of the witnesses and God’s people who are present here, I confirm that the marriage that has been solemnized is a valid Catholic marriage,” said Pastor.
“Hopefully for both of you, this sacrament will be a source of strength and happiness. What God has united, let man not separate,” he concluded.
Jonathan Alden and Brisia Jodie then put rings on each other’s ring fingers.After that, Jonathan Alden kissed Brisia Jodie on the forehead.
The couple got married after about three years of knowing each other.Brisia Jodie and Jonathan Alden’s introduction began after they appeared together on a television show in 2022.
However, they only started their romance after Alden broke up with Awkarin, in January 2024.
About a year later, Jonathan Alden proposed to Brisia Jodie on January 3 2025 in the middle of the Swiss snow.The couple then announced their engagement on June 21, 2025.
Brisia Jodie and Jonathan Alden shared this happy moment by uploading a photo of their proposal.The application was held according to Javanese custom.
“21.06.2025. Two Hearts, One Future,” wrote Jodie in her Instagram upload at that time.
