Budi gave the example that Projo remains in the ranks of Jokowi’s defenders on several issues that have recently arisen.
He gave the example that Projo did not turn around when Jokowi was attacked over the issue of the debt polemic for the Jakarta Bandung Fast Train project, aka Whoosh, which has been very popular recently.
“We put our bodies on the IKN, we put our bodies on fake diplomas. We will definitely fight all the issues that attack Pak Jokowi,” he said.
Budi also explained in more depth the meaning of Projo’s steps which seemed to ‘take away’ Jokowi’s character from his organization, one of which was changing the organization’s logo.
Some time ago, Projo’s 3rd Congress discussed changing the organization’s logo, which currently displays the silhouette of Jokowi’s face.
Budi explained that Projo’s attitude did not stem from concerns, but was a response to new challenges and dynamics.

Projo said that the name of the organization was not the acronym ‘Pro Jokowi’ that had been attached to it.But from Sanskrit which means ‘land’ and in Javanese Kawi which means ‘people’.
Apart from that, Projo also plans to change the organization’s logo to make it appear that it does not worship individuals.The Projo logo currently displays a silhouette of Jokowi’s face.
Projo’s move gave rise to a number of speculations.However, Budi denied that Projo’s relationship with Jokowi was broken.
He emphasized that the birth of Projo ahead of the 2014 presidential election was inseparable from Jokowi’s presence on the national political scene.
