Indonesian mixed doubles, Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Pasaribu, must start their steps in the event

In the first Group B match which took place at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, China, Wednesday (17/12) morning WIB, Jafar/Felisha lost in two straight games 18-21, 16-21 to China’s top pair, Feng Yan Zhe/Huang Dong Ping.
In the first game, Feng/Huang appeared aggressive from the start of the match.The home pair quickly took a 3-0 lead and put pressure on the Jafar/Felisha defense.

However, the Indonesian representative was slowly able to get up and equalize the score at 7-7, 8-8, to 11-11.
Long rallies and neat net play made the match run tight.However, Feng/Huang again showed their experience by widening the gap to 15-12.
The consistency of the Chinese pair’s play finally allowed them to close the first game with a 21-18 win.
Entering the second game, Jafar/Felisha tried to appear braver and took a 3-1 lead.However, Feng/Huang quickly responded and equalized the score at 4-4 before winning 7-4.
Jafar/Felisha didn’t give up and chased again until the score was tied at 10-10 and 11-11.
Unfortunately, after that Feng/Huang shot away with a 17-11 lead thanks to sharp attacks and minimal unforced errors.
They were able to maintain this advantage until they finally secured victory in the second game 21-16.
