Entering the bottom two in the list of the 10 best-selling brands in the wholesale version are Hino with 1,861 units and Chery with 1,560 units.
In terms of retail or direct sales to consumers, BYD also ranks third behind Toyota and Daihatsu after the Chinese brand packed 9,732 units.
Moving to fourth there is Mitsubishi, then Suzuki, and sixth is Honda.
BYD’s aggressive achievement is thought to have been achieved after the company succeeded in importing its new car, namely the Atto 1, through a complete import scheme or CBU in mid-October.At that time, a large white ship called BYD Explorer No.1 arrived at Tanjung Priok Harbor, Jakarta and was about to unload thousands of BYD electric cars, one of which was the Atto 1.
This ship was seen carrying out loading and unloading activities of vehicles, then the yellow and white Atto 1 drove from the direction of the ship towards the other side of the port.
“BYD Atto 1 has arrived at Tanjung Priok Port, the unit is ready to be sent to consumers,” wrote the Instagram account of BYD dealer Arista Bogor, quoted Thursday (16/10).
